There is good news I'd like to share with you

Very promising news

As you all know you cannot work as GP in UK with MRCGP INT , but you can apply in CEGPR pathway which is application for equalising overseas qualification to work as GP in UK, this pathway has no guarantee that it will be accepted and its not special for MRCGP INT only, but any overseas qualification in family medicine can be considered,

the main target of this application is that you need to demonstrate how your qualifications and experience are quivalent to CCT training of MRCGP UK. And each application is reviewed individually and its long and complicated process.

This is old and not new

OK so what's the new thing?

Effective November 2023 there will be modifications to the CEGPR to be more flexible and less difficult and complicated, so that you need to show good overseas experience and qualifications in Family medicine regardless of whether it equivalent with standards of CCT of MRCGP UK or not, so this will make the application easier to be accepted to work as GP in UK with overseas qualification in Family medicine, including MRCGP INT or masters or any other qualifications and experience

So in summary:
There is no change in the main process, but your chances are higher to be accepted to work as GP in UK with MRCGP INT if you apply in CEGPR Pathway
